Advisory Committee
The Advisory Committee of health experts from around the nation—including researchers in varied disciplines, health care providers, government officials, and public policy advocates—provided invaluable assistance in creating the report. In addition to the members of the original advisory committee (listed below), numerous other experts provided insight and guidance in developing subsequent editions.
The Report Card authors would also like to thank the many people who assisted the Report Card effort including former staff and other experts from academia, health organizations, advocacy groups, and federal and state governments. They were generous with their time, and their willingness to provide technical assistance, comments, referrals and advice was critical to the success of the Report Card. The authors would also like to thank the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Office on Women's Health for its input, advice, and insights into the health data generated for the Report Card series.
Please note that each member of the founding Advisory Committee is listed with her or his affiliation in 2000, when the first edition was released.
